"I was surprised no one had recommended some of the steps Amy did, such as removing wall to wall carpeting to show off my hardwood floors, taking some furniture out of my living room to open it up, taking down floral wallpaper and removing religious paintings. At her suggestion, we also moved some office furniture out of the family room and set up a downstairs den as an office, which looked much better. We also changed dark bedding to more neutral colors, and then added plants and new accessories which definitely made a difference too. I now have two offers on my house."
